This beautiful handmade, one-of-a-kind gemstone jewelry set includes a necklace and earrings made from carved bone and amethyst.  Modern Carved Bone beads are similar in properties to ivory and are made from cow, sheep or camel bones and are a by product of the food industry. They have always been part of the food chain, with vintage carved bone beads coming from wild boar or wild hogs.  Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz and is the birthstone for February.  The set is made with Sterling Silver beads, clasp and French Earwires, and features an easy to fasten "S" hook clasp.
